Like our other training sessions, our Track and Field + Speed Development program is fully customizable to your specific event or area of interest.  A lot of what our coaches cover can apply to anyone looking to increase their speed for their given sport.  

 

During a general session, the following techniques and training will be emphasized: 

  • Acceleration Development
  • Speed Development
  • Max Velocity Training
  • Speed Maintenance
  • Efficient Running Form
  • Resistance Training to develop Power and Force application in Running
  • Reaction Time
  • Fundamentals of Accelerating out of Blocks 
  • Long Jump and Triple Jump technique for Track & Field
  • Hurdle technique for Track & Field

The bullet points that are not Track and Field specific have been highlighted and are also valuable for speed development in any sport/activity where running is involved.
